Non-Ablative Laser

copeland_or_procedure_female_5717All lasers use thermal energy, but non-ablative beams bypass the visible tissue and head straight to the dermis (the second layer of skin). This stimulates collagen growth. The surface of the skin remains relatively unaffected by a non-ablative session; there is no flaking or rawness. Typically, four to six monthly non-ablative treatments produce noticeable long-term gains. Repeating a non-ablative procedure creates more collagen and has a cumulative effect.
