Fractional resurfacing
 The fractionated laser, which avoids removing the entire top layer of skin, is a more recent development. With this procedure, improvement is generally more rapid than with a ablative lasers. Fractionated lasers make tiny pinpricks in the skin. The holes are invisible to the naked eye, but the tissue that's been zapped does flake off. It's a little more aggressive than non-ablative lasers and requires some downtime. Dr. Copeland can guide you through the best option for you.
