Her staff is efficient, pleasant and accommodating, especially when dealing with insurance, medical supply companies, and home-care nurses. Three years ago, I had two very difficult open wounds on my ankle which wouldn’t heal despite the efforts of two top specialists. After two years, Dr. Copeland-Halperin was brought in to take on my case. Now, after a year involving surgery, debridements, skin grafts, an external wound device and three times per-week nursing care, I am delighted to say that both wounds are fully healed. My treatment unavoidably involved a good deal of pain and Dr. Copeland-Halperin was empathetic, patient and considerate. Throughout this ordeal she was always accessible, fully invested in my care while thoroughly discussing every step of treatment.
