Dr. Libby Copeland-Halperin performed an extraction of a 7 cm lipoma on my upper arm. Her minimally invasive extraction techniques, including the use of liposuction, allowed for a much smaller incision (about a half inch) versus other surgeons I considered. Her time and attention, personal accessibility, surgical skill and consultation support made for a smooth and stress free process. I highly recommend her as a plastic surgeon for serious consideration if you are exploring removal of a lipoma.

In addition to being an outstanding surgeon, Dr. Libby Copeland-Halperin is a caring person with a warm, friendly demeanor. Her staff is efficient, pleasant and accommodating, especially when dealing with insurance, medical supply companies, and home-care nurses. Three years ago, I had two very difficult open wounds on my ankle which wouldn’t heal despite the efforts of two top specialists. After two years, Dr. Copeland-Halperin was brought in to take on my case. Now, after a year involving surgery, debridements, skin grafts, an external wound device and three times per-week nursing care, I am delighted to say that both wounds are fully healed. Love this doctor! She is so good about explaining the procedure. I felt right at ease and comfortable during the procedure which was a removal of a small cyst on my back. No pain at all.
