Dr. Michelle Copeland is a Harvard-trained and board-certified plastic surgeon whose Manhattan practice has flourished by serving thousands of patients, including celebrities. She practices a full range of plastic and reconstructive surgery for both adult and pediatric patients and has been invited to speak at international conferences to present her pioneering techniques for enhancing facial rejuvenation at scientific symposiums in Paris, Cyprus, Florence, Milan, South Africa, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Beijing. She serves as a teaching faculty member at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Copeland-Halperin is proud to join her mother’s esteemed practice. An accomplished, double board-certified plastic surgeon herself, Dr. Copeland-Halperin studied at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and then completed her residency in general surgery at the Inova Fairfax Medical Center, a large tertiary care hospital in Northern Virginia. There, she became Chief Resident for Quality and Safety and served on several hospital committees. While at Inova Fairfax, Dr. Copeland-Halperin researched patient safety and quality outcomes in general and plastic surgery and won awards for research and teaching.
As one of very few mother-daughter plastic surgery duos in the nation, Dr. Copeland and Dr. Copeland-Halperin draw upon a wealth of institutional knowledge and experience to provide their patients with the best cosmetic, aesthetic, and reconstructive results.
